For those who love great food, or miss authentic Moroccan food, Bistro Le Casanova should be on the top of the list. Not only is Chef Abdel Makdad a Moroccan, he also has extensive experience working in French restaurants in New York. His talents ensure that every customer leaves with a satisfied stomach and a smile. Because of his Moroccan background, the dishes have a special richness and taste. The seasonings are especially rare in Taiwan and, because Chef Abdel insists on presenting original tastes, he brings them here himself from Morocco. Some dishes particularly worth trying include Couscous (NT$475 to NT$550), Sirloin Steak (NT$450), and Moroccan Tea (NT$140). The Beef Tajine (NT$475) is also worth noting: Making it is time consuming, but it is a favorite dish that will have you wanting to come back for more. --By Josie Wu, translated by Judy Chao
