South African Fish House

South African Fish House (XinYi A11 branch)

11, SongShou Rd, 4F
Closed 停業

With their exotic menu selections and tasty flavors, South African Fish House has enjoyed a steady stream of costumers since its opening. Located on XinYi Road, it is a prime location for expat and tourist visitors, who can often be seen on the outdoor patio. This South African restaurant's new branch just opened up inside Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Department Store and occupies 300 pings of space. The decor here only slightly hints at the rugged South African theme of the other location. This branch also has an outdoor seating area. When Christmas and the new year comes around, it might not be a bad idea to make your reservations ahead of time. Located very near the Taipei 101 building, it is an ideal spot for holiday parties. --By Joan Chang, translated by Ann Lee

A. The restaurant's signature dish is the South African Hake Fillet Served with Tarragon Sauce (NT$380), which is a tender Hake fish fillet that's grilled and topped with a tarragon sauce and other spices. The new location also offers some new dishes like Boneless Ribsteak with Spiced Salt (NT$380). From Monday to Friday, lunch specials range in price from NT$280 to NT$300.

B. In the evening, this restaurant turns into a pub. When the weather's nice, it is a nice place to sit outside and relax with a couple of drinks.

Taiwan Fun reminds you to not to drink and drive.
