Natseme offers Japanese cuisine that is as fresh and light as "summer", which is what the restaurant's name means. Natseme has a sushi bar and private seating area, with wood and mat decor that is characteristically Japanese. A. Taiwanese chef Aran displays one of his sashimi creations. After spending five years in Japan learning Japanese cooking skills, Aran is confident about his culinary abilities, claiming, "Everyone will fall in love when they eat my food." Presentation is very important to Aran, who decorates dishes with plants, fish and vegetables cut into fancy shapes and flowers.
B. Manager Jill recommends Natseme's set meals. Options are lunch (NT$380), heavier lunch (NT$520) and dinner (NT$1,200), each comprising of about eight items. Dishes are changed every three days. The dinner set meal includes starters of Salmon Roe (NT$180), Tuna Fish With Avocado (NT$240), Mixed Sashimi (price varies), Assorted Hand Rolled Sushi (NT$460/7 rolls), and Beef on Hot Pebbles/Broiling With Salt (NT$480). The beef is served with rose salt.
