JBSD Dubu House, a well-known tofu brand, is making its appearance in Taiwan. After the 20-something owner, Mr. Wu, started importing the authentic Korean-style tofu, he decided to start his own restaurant, which sells mainly tofu stews. The kitchen is full of high-end cooking equipment and various chili powders and spices imported from Korea. --By Joan Chang, translated by Ann Lee

A. The Combos Soondubu (NT$280) meal includes a Tofu Stew Pot, Glutinous (Purple) Rice and all-you-can-eat appetizers. All the tofu used in their dishes is made from organic soybeans, which give the dishes a unique flavor and texture.

B. Popular choices here include: Seafood Pancake (NT$250), an authentic dish made with seafood and onions; Korean Cheese Egg Roll (NT$220), made with eggs and different vegetables and cheese; and Korean Barbecued Spareribs (NT$420/large, NT$220/small) which are marinated with authentic Korean spices.
