Everything at Galerie Bistro, from the cutlery, tables, chairs and decor, to the menu and wine list is full of style and grace. It is set in a building, left over from Japanese colonial times, which the current owner inherited from his family. Customers will find contemporary European bistro fare, imported quality ingredients, fine china and tableware, and top-notch service. Their menu boasts favorites like Italian panini sandwiches and French crepes, which come in savory and sweet flavors. Wild Mushrooms & Chicken Royal with Sauce Supreme (NT$210) and Fresh Fruit Tea (NT$200) are ideal for an afternoon snack. If you have room for dessert, the Fudge Brownie Cake (NT$160) is an unforgettable combination of Belgian chocolate and vanilla ice cream. Roasted Beef and Caramelized Onions (NT$280) is made with U.S. prime beef and authentic french fries. For a relaxing afternoon, sit in the garden and have a cup of Ceylon Tea (NT$180). If you're coming for dinner, its best to reserve space ahead of time as the restaurant fills up quickly. --Written and translated by Diva
