The majority of customers at Tenkitsu Shabu Shop, located in the western part of Taipei, are students. Though the average cost per person is no more than NT$300, you're guaranteed to eat well and be satisfied by the end of the meal. Goldfish, the restaurant manager, insists that shabu shabu is a dish that can be enjoyed all year round. Their kelp soup stock is ideal for spring and summertime, which is spicy hot pot season; kimchi soup stock goes well with breezy autumn evenings and pickled cabbage soup stock will provide warmth for the winter. Four different dipping sauces and rice with sweet yams are provided in unlimited supply. --Written and translated by Diva
