The place and impression salads hold in Taiwan seems a bit unfair. People often consider it only as a side dish that has a regular two or three types of vegetable with the usual two to three kinds of dressing. What's ironic is that everyone knows the main ingredients, fruits and vegetables, contribute many benefits such as cancer prevention, anti-aging, detoxification, strengthening the immune system, weight control, beauty and so on. Eating more fruits and vegetables is healthy, nutritious and eco-friendly. Originating in Atlanta in the United States, Justin Smolev started the salad chain store "dressed" in 2006 and has now continued on to Taiwan after expanding into Hong Kong. With the concept of salad acting as a main course, "dressed" features more than 70 various ingredients from categories such as fruits, vegetables, cheese, nuts, dried fruits, tuna, chicken, turkey, steak and many others. "dressed" also offers 24 kinds of mouth-watering salad dressings, such as Blueberry Pomegranate Vinaigrette, Buttermilk Ranch, Caramalized Onion Vinaigrette, Chipotle Aioili, Lemon-Lime Vinaigrette, Metropolitan Blue Cheese,Tzatziki, and more. The variety of choices allows one to indulge in salad everyday without repetition. Besides the Custom Salads, there are also 18 Chef Designed Salads recommended by Justin Smolev himself. Prices range from NT$230 to NT$350. Salad Wraps are also available at NT$30 less than normal salads. Stressing out your stomach too much lately? Come to "dressed" for some internal maintenance.
