The Hua-Shan Music Hall, located on the second floor of the Hua-Shan administration building, is Taipei's latest musical landmark. Earmarked as an exhibit hall, the place was given over to music thanks to Mr. Chen Min-Chan, who currently rents the space. His enthusiasm for and involvement with music makes the Music Hall a mecca for the new generation of composers and performers. Mr. Chen encourages a wide range of talent by scheduling a variety of shows at reasonable prices. Just take your pick from classical music on Tuesdays, independent singers on Wednesdays, bands from central and southern Taiwan on Thursdays, and well-known bands on Fridays and Saturdays. New bands gain exposure on Sundays. All music lovers are welcome to enjoy the show. - Selena Huang
