Does your body feel like it should practice yoga? Join the trend. However, how do you find a suitable yoga school? Apart from chain yoga schools and the famous ones widely advertised, some personal neighborhood workshops might offer something just right. Only a three-minute walk from the ZhongXiao/FuXing MRT Station is The Swami Salami School of Yoga. The funny name and logo tells you that they are not into the whole "master yogi"-thing. Swami Salami is a tall, slender man named Rob, who places emphasis on safely practicing yoga. Rob's teacher from India taught him yoga was not a competition. It is not necessary to achieve difficult advanced-level poses; the important thing is the basic postures. With daily practice, you will experience changes both physically and mentally.

A. Rob has practiced kung fu since the age of 13. He studied yoga professionally in India, and is also qualified in yoga healing. Rob encourages students to concentrate on learning to breathe properly and incorporating yoga poses into daily lives to relieve stress.

B. Rob teaches classes in both Chinese and English, with emphasis on carefully achieving the postures. There are three daily weekday classes. Your first lesson is free.
