in Taipei, Taichung, and Taitung, Shou-Yu Vegetarian Buffet is an
inexpensive and popular vegetarian restaurant. According to the
manager of the Pingtung establishment, the restaurant aims to make
its food both delicious and cheap. To ensure the fare here is fresher,
lighter and more exquisite than common Taiwanese vegetarian food,
no alcohol or eggs are used in cooking. A person can eat very well
here for NT$120. In addition to regular buffet items, pot-sticker
dumplings, oven-baked onion cakes, salads and refreshments are available.
