Mr Mark Bakery, which specializes in healthy German rye and multi-grain breads, has opened two new branches in the Kaohsiung area. Authentic recipes are meticulously followed with German precision, and the flours used are imported from Germany and the United States. German country breads do not contain eggs or butter, are low in sugar and oil, and maintain natural flavors. The recipes include ingredients such as olive oil and maple syrup to make the breads stand out, and meet the demand for healthy food. The aroma of freshly-baked bread can make you feel hungry, and the friendly staff is ready to lead you to a tray full of testers with a wide variety of rye, multi-grain, breads with seeds, nuts, berries, and beans. The name-plates of all breads not only list the ingredients but also state the calories per bread. Rich in vitamins and low in calories, Mr. Mark's bread is a perfect example of a tasty diet product. There is also a branch at 45, ChiShian 2nd Road, within walking distance of Kaohsiung Rail Station. --By Masha Gazizova
