Independent travelers looking for low-priced lodging in Taichung can now take advantage of this small guesthouse, ideally located in the heart of "Little Europe" and run by local American street artist and Vermont native Scott Burfeind (also known as "Scott Spray" for his spray-paint art at People's Park). To date, Scottie's guests have included a variety of international travelers from Asian and Western countries as well as Taiwanese. Per person pricing is NT$500/night, NT$3,000/week and NT$10,000/month and includes clean towels and sheets. A. One of the air-conditioned upstairs bedrooms. Bathrooms are shared.

B. The second floor has a communal living room and kitchen area with cooking facilities and refrigerators. Other facilities include lockers for personal items and a washing machine.

C. The first-floor gallery area features rotating exhibitions (usually every 1-2 months) of local featured artists' works, which are also available for sale.
