As the sun drops towards the horizon, a delicious variety of dishes start to emerge from the kitchen at this restaurant. Since its opening a year ago, Plate has been offering savory European-style dishes creatively flavored with special sauces and integrating local and imported ingredients and spices.
The latest set meal to be promoting here over this summer period starts with a Chicken Parfait Sandwich appetizer whose rich, interesting flavors come from a mixture of handmade chicken parfait, marinated diced cauliflower, grapes, oatmeal and parsley wrapped in lightly baked bread. Next comes Baby Squid with Ratatouille and Fresh Fish with Stew Lemon Bouillabaisse Sauce, followed by main course options such as Spice Roasted Duck Breast with Caramelized Onion (NT$1,150) and Short Rib Beef with Chickpeas Puree (NT$1,350).
