With the flourishing of Taichung's art and cultural activities over recent years there has been growing number of musical performances and exhibitions. Catering to this growth is a five-and-a-half-story apartment building near Chung Yo Department Store and YiZhong Street night market area, offering an "alternative space" that includes a studio as well an experimental art space that distinguishes it from general art exhibition halls.

Several foreign artists have showcased their creativity and experimental art in this venue, which offers an excellent exhibition space. Both the first and second floors are used as an exhibition center, perfect for presenting two or three dimensional arts and Taiwan contemporary art and the international art world.welcoming visitors to appreciate art without boundaries.

The exhibition center owner promotes and combines art exhibitions from several artists in the hope of encouraging artists to interact and exchange ideas with each other. In order to promote Taiwanese arts, visitors are treated to a vivid exhibition experience. The annual "Super Novart" event selects unique artists for an opportunity to become famous. In order to encourage undiscovered talent, the owner also recruits interns, giving interested young people a chance to learn about exhibition preparations, proposals and marketing.
