This all-new restaurant appears the first and only Thai eatery in the popular Little Europe neighborhood and is conveniently located just meters from Taichung's famous Ching Ming 1st Street and the Tunghsing Parking Lot. Mr. Li, the Thai owner and chef, still runs a Thai food counter in Chung Yo Department Store's B3-level food court and originally 'loaned' his establishment's name to another Chienhsing Rd. Thai eatery (now renamed Taihsin Thai Restaurant). His new venture, which seats about 40 inside or outside, is located in what once was Mod Cafe and serves good, authentic Thai dishes, including the popular Steamed Lemon Fish (NT$260), Spicy Chicken with Coconut and Curry Sauce (NT$130), Spicy Beef Salad (NT$150), and Thai Fried Rice Noodels (Pad Thai). There are also soups, a Thai 'shabu shabu' mini hot pot, Thai fruit and ice desserts and various drinks, including Thai Singha Beer.
