Jing
Hsin Lou is decorated in an ancient Chinese style, with an atmosphere
that is both simple and elegant. There is also a feeling of seclusion,
making it a good choice for those times when the pressures of the
world seem too large to bear. This small restaurant serves up a
variety of vegetarian fare, some of which is quite unique, like
its specialties--pumpkin noodles (NT$60 to NT$80) and pumpkin rice
(NT$60). Its vegetarian version of rice with chicken¡¦s
blood (NT$45) is low-calorie and packed with nutrients. Other popular
items include vegetarian boiled dumplings (shui jiao,
¤ô»å, NT$45), puff pastry soup (NT$70),
a variety of noodle dishes (NT$65), curry rice (NT$65), Tang Kuei
soup (NT$40) and herbal hot pot (NT$120). After eating your fill,
try something from the drink menu like grapefruit juice (NT$50),
rosemary tea (NT$60) or one of the many ices (NT$50). On the second
floor, there is seating available for larger groups.¡XBy Little
