         Next to the NOVA mall in the ex-Top Mall building, there is a cute little eatery called Tomato. The store sign is not very visible so shoppers often pass by many times without ever noticing this place. However, the sandwiches and subs here are amazingly delicious and all the bread used is freshly baked every morning. Besides the golden, crispy toast and breads and the main entrees, the salads include imported lettuce, sliced fresh tomatoes, pickles, sliced cheese and olives, along with mustard, mayonnaise, olive oil, red vinegar and more. These add-on ingredients, drizzled with mouth-watering dressings, make them hard to resist, as one takes one bite after another from these delectable sandwiches until everything's gone. Sandwich prices range from NT$25 to NT$60. For those seeking a more healthy option, there is also the popular vegetable sandwich. This unique little restaurant and its sandwiches bring together a variety of people from very different cultures and backgrounds. So, don't be shocked if you ever happen to find yourself sitting next to a Buddhist nun chewing on a sandwich at Tomato.
