VISITOR RATINGS & REVIEWSs
This new, stylish-looking
curry restaurant is the latest venture by Taichung's well-known
New Palace restaurant group and is targeted at a younger market
with a relaxing, less-formal, contemporary-style atmosphere. The
wide variety of tasty curry dishes is the result of work by six
guest Japanese chefs, who have created recipes using over 50 types
of ingredients. The Japanese-style curry is less spicy than Indian
varieties and may be ordered in five gradations of spiciness. Reasonably-priced
set meals include curry vegetable, cheese, beef, chicken, seafood
and pork dishes, costing NT$160 to NT$200 and coming with salad,
soup and drink (NT$20 for added melted cheese on the sauce). Individual
dishes are NT$120 each, and take-out box meals (NT$120-140) are
delivered free for orders of 10 or more (order one hour in advance).
Other items include a papaya, mango and aloe yogurts (NT$60), Creme
Brulee, Banana Cake, Mango Pannacotta, and various iced and hot
fruit and milk teas.
