FATTY'S
CAFE PIZZERIA
63, Jing Ming 1st Street
 |
Fans of Fatty's Italian
Restaurant and Smooth Bar & Grill Restaurant will want to try
out the latest creation by owner Hendrick Frijling and his team.
Fatty's Caf?is ideally located in the middle of Jing Ming 1st Street
(better known to many foreigners as "tea street" or "European
street") in what used to known as Caf?Magician. Caf?Magician
is still part of this new operation, providing a variety of iced
and hot coffees (NT$60-130) in addition to teas and juices. Thanks
to addition of a big, imported wood or gas burning oven, however,
the place now has 14 types of pizzas, in 8-inch small or 12-inch
large sizes, ranging from the Pizza Margherita (NT$95/NT$190) to
the Pizza Prosciutto Crudo, with Parma ham, Mozzarella cheese, plum
tomatoes, olive oil and fresh basil (NT$270/NT$390). Any pizza option
can be also ordered as a NT$350 calzone. The menu also has soups,
salads, snacks and oven-baked pastas like Lasagna (NT$290). For
snacks/desserts, there are four types of fruit-flavored natural
yogurts (NT$160), various ice creams, and cakes, like the Banana
Chocolate (NT$45) and Earl Gray Tea (NT$99) cakes. Day or night,
the ambiance at Fatty's Caf?keeps with the street’s pleasant reputation,
with sidewalk tables and attractive wooden tables and chairs on
two floors inside. |
