When some people first see the Chinese name of this place, "Chi Hua Jia", they may associate it with China's legendary art of making things invisible ("chi men duen jia"). However, the name here is simply translated from a similar-sounding Korean phrase, "Chi Hua Ja", meaning "Great!" or "Fantastic!", that crowds would traditionally shout out to bring peace and prosperity during their revelries. The owner, surnamed Chi, used to be an engineering consultant and is very good at planning things. His wife, on the other hand, is fond of delicious food. This couple complements each other. After eating their cuisine, many people became interested in selling similar items. Their genuine seafood spicy fish soup hot pot contains many ingredients. Rumor has it that this is the favorite dish of the male and female leads in "Love in Winter". Rice, served in stoneware, is stirred with green vegetables, eggs and meat, creating a fresh and fun dining experience, as you stir and eat from the sizzling stone pot. The Fried Seafood Cake, and Sweet and Spicy Kimchi pot are enough to make some diners shout with joy. The very chewy, delicious Spicy Fried Rice Cake is well worth a try. You can also enjoy some healthy drinks at Chi Hua Jia. Genuine Korean Wine and hot red ginseng honey tea provide great winter comfort. Another thing worth mentioning is that all the waiters and waitresses have been nicknamed after Korean Stars. If you take a closer look at their name cards, you will find "He Li Hsiu", "Chang Dong Jian" and others, providing a bit of humor to go with your food.
