With
the growing importance of healthy eating recently, organic
food has also gained prominence. Situated on the corner
of Gong Yi and Jing Cheng roads, this mostly-green colored,
two-story, Western-style vegetarian restaurant offers a
relaxing dining experience. In addition to the vegetarian
cuisine, it also offers other health food products, such
as Ashitaba leaf drinks, vitality drinks and health drinks
using grass and grains. One of the major selling points
is the restaurant's ample breakfast selection made almost
entirely of health foods. You can find sandwiches, wraps,
sushi, even energy drinks made from a combination of 30
types of fruits and vegetables. These drinks provide a
tasty and refreshing drinking experience that will immediately
boost your energy. The restaurant also offers a Business
Lunch (NT$129), which includes a choice of buckwheat noodles
or five-grain rice, a soup made of 20 different types of
Chinese herbs, and vegetables for a side dish or main course.
You can also try the the Lunch Boxes (NT$99). Dinner includes
Japanese-style hot-plate (NT$600/person), which includes
a mouth-watering vegetarian main course (using natural
flavoring), salad, soup, rice, sweets and a health drink.
All food found here is certified organic. To make vinegar,
the boss herself uses a mixture of lemon and unbleached
raw sugar which is allowed to sit for a year. The use of
all-natural foods is a testament to the dedication of the
owner and staff, who aim to give customers a pristine,
healthy eating environment. As the menu can vary day to
day, it is best to call and make reservations. --By Uvia
