This brightly-colored, American-style bistro restaurant comes to Taichung from Taipei, where there are two other Sunday's outlets. Located next to Warner Village cinema on Taichung Central mall's fourth floor, the 180-seat restaurant aims for a youthful, fun, healthy image with its warm orange, yellow and pink colors, cheerleader/athleticwear uniformed waiters, and pop background music. For the most part, there is no ordering here--it's all-you-can-eat for NT$298 (5:30-10 p.m. dinner and all day weekends/holidays) or NT$238 (weekday lunches 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.). The food, served to your table, is pure American: buffalo wings, spaghetti, nachos, corn on the cob, pizza, salad, onion rings, french fries, ribs. Soft drinks and coffee/tea are also available. Extra desserts, like puddings, are available for around NT$40 and the bar sells cocktails and beers (also available with a buy-2-get-1-free deal). To keep things fun and lively, Sunday's has regular special nights, like Monday Bingo Night, Tuesday Ladies' Night (NT$238 for women), Wednesday Tie Nights (10% off for men with ties) and Thursday Uniform Nights (10% off for uniforms). Additional special events and menu additions/changes will also regularly take place. --By Douglas Habecker, translated by Annie Liu
