Located at the edge of 'Little Las Vegas' is a new upscale lounge with a Southeast Asian twist. Fronted by an attractive outdoor garden area with pools, fountains, trees and tables, this traditional Malaysian-style building is impressive right from the get-go. Inside is even more impressive, with classy Southeast Asian touches added to the classic lounge look. The dining/sofa bar area features a glass floor over a huge aquarium supporting a family of equally huge garrupa fish. In the centre of Joy Way lies a large dance floor overlooked by VIP rooms to the right and a DJ booth in the centre. During the daytime, Joy Way is a Thai restaurant, with notable dishes including Spicy & Sour Seafood Soup (NT$280) and Steamed Perch in Lemon Sauce (NT$380). In the evening, beer runs for NT$150+, Thai Singha Beer for NT$180, Test Tubes for NT$100 and cocktails for NT$100. --By Courtney Donovan Smith, translated by Uvia Chang
