Located right next to the HuaMei Street canal, K2 Cucina is easy to get to from all directions. This Italian eatery has a casual dining atmosphere and is a break from the crowded bars nearby. French windows and red-black decor add to its cozy ambiance. On warm days, the staff opens the windows so customers can relax with sunshine and the southern European tunes played throughout the restaurant.

The secret to K2 Cucina's pasta is in the ingredients. Chef J-Ping, who makes a regular trip to Italy every year, uses Durum flour for the noodles. This flour fully absorbs sauces, which provides enhanced flavors. All ingredients used by the Cucina are imported from Italy. Their signature dish is the Crab, Baby Scallops & Linguine in Tomato Sauce (NT$250). Try a traditional Italian dessert (NT$60-150) like Espresso and Hazelnut Ice Cream, or Lemon Tart. Both go nicely with a post-meal cup of latte or cappuccino. Because all dishes are made to order, guests should expect to wait about 15 minutes.
