Standing proudly near the old Shuinan Airport, right off the ZhongQing freeway interchange, the Chinatrust Hotel is home to the Hong Kong-style restaurant Chion Yue Yuan. All of their generously portioned, made-to-order dim sum dishes stand on their own without any extra spices or seasoning; this cooking method guarantees the best flavor and texture. Along with high-quality service, Chion Yue Yuan offers an affordable option for authentic Cantonese specialties. If you came with a small group and shared everything, the bill would, on average, be around NT$350 per person, which is pretty reasonable for the quality and quantity of the food.

The chef recommends Fried Rice Crackers with Pork and Mushroom. After being wrapped up, this soft, sweet dish is fried with Japanese-style rice crackers and sprinkled with seaweed. There's only one word to describe its taste--yummy! The Smoked Pork with Honey Sauce Biscuit is another must-try here; made by experienced chefs, the biscuit is baked first to let the layers of crispy dough rise, and then is smeared with egg yolk to bring out the fragrance and color. The stuffing is finely chopped and broiled with barbecue sauce.

The smooth-textured Leek and Shrimp Rice Noodle Roll (NT$110) is also accompanied by a sweet, secret sauce that sure to keep your taste buds happy. Another dim sum classic, Chion Yue Soup Bun with Shark Fin (NT$130 per bowl) contains all kinds of offerings from the sea like scallops, crab and, of course, shark.
The Pork Ribs with Plum Sauce (NT$78) are a bit greasy, but quite fresh and sweet.

Finally, there is the Steamed Seafood and Fish Roe Dumpling (NT$100), featuring a tasty seafood stuffing topped with fish roe.
