At the end of last year, Gina Chen opened this elegant French restaurant, which has adapted its cuisine to Taiwanese palates. "Sante" is a reference to three different things--the chef's name, the "cheers"-like drinking salute in French, and "health" in French as well. With over 10 years of experience at French restaurants, the owners make sure that their customers receive the best service, the best food and the best wine--all part of their effort to develop a friendly long-term relationship with patrons. A. The lunch set includes an amuse-bouche, juice, salad, soup, main course, dessert and coffee or tea, with prices varying from NT$680 to NT$1,280. Sante also offers a Vegetarian Menu set (NT$780).
B. The Risotto Arroz Negro contains a big tiger prawn, Hokkaido scallops and sea salt, plus rice imported from Italy.
 C. In addition to food, the restaurant has an extensive international wine selection to choose from.
