Boasting one of Taichung's most exquisite restaurant settings, this Western establishment is located inside the new Maple Garden Park, on the corner of Taichung Port and HeNan roads. An all-day range of food and drinks includes a NT$159 breakfast set (9:30-10:50 a.m.), light-entree and main-entree sets (NT$288-799), salads, and snacks. A. The restaurant's landmark wave-shaped structure is semi-underground, built into a hillside and overlooking the park's small lake, greenery and surrounding walking trails.

An afternoon and evening Tea Time Set (NT$460 for 2 people) includes a variety of snacks and the choice of a drink up to NT$130 for each person.

Many of the Shuei Wu's 100 seats are situated on a long balcony area at shaded tables and cushioned nooks that provide wonderful, romantic daytime and evening spots for relaxation.
