Meters from the MinQuan-JianXing intersection, this swanky, 60-seat cafe-restaurant is a relaxing, upscale-feeling place to enjoy a long list of creative, quality, but reasonably-priced, coffees (NT$100-250), teas, 100% juices (NT$140-200), French-style desserts, appetizers, salads and Western entrees. A. A top attraction at De Reve is the NT$599 Afternoon Tea for two, available all day. Served with a tall, decorative Eiffel Tower dessert holder, this includes a variety of finger-food-style desserts and cakes, plus coffee or scented tea choices (5 options each).
B. De Reve's chic-looking, lounge-ish interior includes silver-colored seats and decorative highlights.
C. A number of mostly Italian-style entrees, pictured with the De Reve Mixed Red Tea, include (left-right) a uniquely-tasty Truffle Cheese Steak Burger (NT$220), featuring steak slices and loads of tasty black-truffle bits baked into the bread; Sicilian Seafood Herb Baked Rice (NT$260), made with mozzarella, Italian herbs and home-grown rosemary; and Spicy Herb Fresh Shrimp Gratin Penne (NT$260). |
