Opposite Maple Valley Park, this place represents a foray into the restaurant industry for 85oC Bakery Cafe. Great effort is made to present three kinds of imperial "secret-recipe" broths enjoyed by Qing dynasty royal families--Pickles With Pork; Spicy; and Phoenix Reunion flavors. The Phoenix Reunion Pot is prepared with premium pork bones and old hens, simmered for 18 hours to release the gelatin. Recommended ingredients are peppered marinated chicken from Taitung's Luye, pork belly and cabbage.
