Old Japanese-style atmosphere restaurant Macrobiotic offers Japanese creative cuisine combined with a trendy variety of "nabeyaki udon" Japanese dipped noodles (NT$140~160), fried foods (NT$50~80) and other traditional dishes. A. Seasonal Vegetable Rice (NT$140) is a combination of purple cabbage, corn, sweet beans and gold pickles, accented by the lightly baked rice after it is fully mixed. Tofu Tempura (NT$50), Plum Tomato (NT$50) and Sesame Nut Soymilk (NT$90) are also pictured.
B. Soup Leaves Soymilk Udon (NT$140) is poured into a heated pot, where a thin soy "skin" forms on the surface from the pure soymilk base. Chewy Nan-qiao Sanuki Udon noodles are added for a new flavor, while other dishes include Fried Crispy Vegetables (NT$80), Coco Soymilk (NT$80) and Pumpkin Tofu (NT$50).
C. Besides the regular menu, this establishment serves many side dishes, such as sweet potatoes topped with hot syrup, pumpkin tofu, plum tomatoes and other items (NT$50-80). |
