This small Italian eatery provides guests with a warm, homey dining atmosphere while integrating distinctive Italian and Taiwanese elements into its cooking. Savory pasta sauces range from simple butter, tomato and pesto based options to special red curry and Thai-flavored recipes. Pasta and gratin-style rice dishes also served with unique flavors such as cod caviar sauce and shrimp nuggets. Add NT$59 for a hearty set meal with bread, soup and drink. --By Ann Li, translated by Sho Huang

A. Grilled Chicken Leg with Herbs Rice Ball (NT$150)--Seasoned with fried onions and curry, rice is shaped into a ball, deep-fried and served with butter, tomato sauce or pesto, making it crispy outside and soft inside--a rich texture somewhere between risotto and stewed rice.

B. Pasta with Butterfly Shrimp Nuggets (NT$160)--Fresh seafood, green vegetables and basil help accentuate the rich ingredients in this dish.

C. Cod Caviar Two-Colored Pasta (NT$160)--This unorthodox entree features cuttlefish in red curry and cod caviar, combining the subtle curry flavor with spicy-salty caviar in a lively mix.
