Originally located on Dadun 18th Street, this pizza restaurant has relocated to a new venue equipped with an imported Italian wood-burning oven that bakes delicious handmade pizzas at 420 degrees Celsius or hotter. The southern Italian-style puffed pizza dough here is thin and chewy exudes wonderful aromas after baking. The dough is prepared with Italian flour, water, sea salt and natural enzymes and is slowly fermented for 12 hours. This delicate-looking crust is topped with fresh sliced meat, seafood and vegetables and recommended eight-inch options (NT$180-300) include Pork with Arugula, Cheese Pizza, Mixed Seafood, Margherita, and Fiorentina. Carbone also offers pasta entrees (NT$200-280) like Clams with White Wine, Cream and Black Pepper, Mushroom, Chicken, and Seafood, available with white, red, or pesto sauces. For a bit extra, diners can enjoy a combo meal with salad, soup, dessert and drink. --By Uvia Chang, translated by Anna Yang |
