This large, slick-looking restaurant is located along Taichung's "Champs Elysees", facing a grassy boulevard near the Taiwan Museum of Art. The modern decor makes an immediate impression, with glass walls, streaming with water and shaded on the inside with long venetian blinds. Upstairs, there are swing-style seats, suspended from the ceiling. From 11:30 am to 2 pm, there are lunch specials, starting at NT$220, based around beef, lamb, fish, pork and chicken dishes and including salad, fruit, soup, bread and a drink. Dinner specials are served from 5:30 to 9:30 pm and include a variety of western steak, ribs and seafood dishes, starting at NT$450, plus some pasta dishes, starting at about NT$280. Iced or hot coffees and teas and other drinks are available and there is an afternoon tea time. The background music is often jazz and there are magazines and newspapers upstairs to read.
