Situated in a lane just off San Min Road, Sportsman's is the
latest addition to Changhua's nightlife. The interior is roomy
and comfortable with plenty of seating, either at the bar
counter or on sofas and armchairs. A welcome attraction is
the big-screen projector, used to show live international
sports events via satellite. There are also TVs situated throughout
the venue so that matches can be viewed from any area of the
pub. The atmosphere is similar to that of that of a pub from
"home", wherever that may be, where everybody feels
welcome and is welcome. It is also a place where you can sit
back and enjoy your drink or get up and dance to the variety
of music that is playes until the sun comes up. A range of
drinks is available with Tiger beer on tap for NT$120, bottled
beers from NT$100, cocktails and shots. The owners also plan
to offer Western-style meals like hamburgers, pastas, and
fish and chips. Barbecues will also be held on a regular basis
in the garden area in front of the building. To get there
from the rail station, turn left into San Min Road and continue
to the Noble Hotel. The lane entrance is almost directly opposite
and the pub is 100 meters from San Min Road.
