Located about 20 meters from The Pig Pen, Insomnia has a grey-stone,
slightly-gothic look to its exterior. Inside, are the usual small
tables, a medium-sized dance floor and stage for live bands, which
alternate with Djs each night between about 10 pm and 4:30 am. Each
Saturday, the place has a "Hot House Party" from 3:30
to 6 a.m. On weekday nights, customers must purchase a minimum of
NT$200 in drinks and other items and on Fridays and Saturdays there
is respectively a NT$350 and NT$500 cover charge.
