Taichung's Houli district is world-famous for its flourishing musical instrument manufacturing industry. Since 2012, global saxophone players have been invited to the "Hometown of Musical Instruments" and won an abundance of prizes at the Taichung Saxophone Competition. This year, 2016 Taichung Saxophone Competition, hosted by Taichung City Cultural Affairs Bureau, is once again welcoming applications from participants all over the world. Participants are given opportunities to improvise a series of music pieces and to win the first place among internationial competitors. So don't miss this opportunity if you think you're a good sax player who has what it takes!
