       Taichung's first official dealership for large, imported motorcycles is now open, with a spacious multi-level showroom, maintenance center and accessories store. Gochen is the official BMW Motorcycle dealer for central Taiwan, selling 11 different models that range in price from the NT$449,000 F650CS to the NT$1,059,000 K1200LT touring bike. In a change from the pre-WTO days, these bikes are all fully legal and licensed. Most of these beauties are displayed in the main showroom. Upstairs, Gochen also sells a wide range of other motorcycles, including Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Yamaha, Buell, Aprilia and the locally-made Kymco 250cc motorcycles and scooters. Just as important, the store has a professional maintenance/repair center for big bikes and sells tires, engine oil, mufflers and other equipment. On the accessories side, the store has a full line of BMW clothing, saddlebags, gloves, helmets and other gear. The spacious split-level upstairs area has dozens of colorful imported helmets from companies like Shoei and Arai, plus gloves, boots, jackets, riding suits and other gear. The Gochen store is located just past the Honan/Kungyi roads intersection.
