101 SUPERMARKET

183, HuaMei Street
Hours: 9 am-10 pm
Credit cards accepted.

This imported-goods grocery store, previously in the old Top One building opposite People's Square, has a new location on HuaMei Street just meters from the XiangShang Road intersection. The two-floor shop sells an eclectic variety of reasonably-priced groceries, home supplies and other items, mostly imported from the U.S., Europe, Vietnam and Thailand. Foreigners in particular have appreciated some of harder-to-find items, from American frozen salmon to Thai Singha beer. Other imported goods include wines and liquors, canned goods, condiments and sauces, spices, candy, coffee, vitamins and supplements, bagels, cheese, butter, imported ham and bacon, sausages, juices and sports drinks, shampoo, soap, skin-care products, paper napkins and towels, dish and laundry detergent, towels, diapers and home-cleaning products.
