	2008 Silver Lake Collection By Swarovski The luxury brand name for precision-cut lead, crystal, glass and jewelry, Swarovski has a new collection called Silver Lake. The new designs follow a theme of plants and birds surrounding the Silver Lake area. These beautifully designed crystal pieces, created by designer Heinz Tabertshofer, pay tribute to the beauty of nature. In one of his outstanding designs, a pair of Malachite Kingfishers (NT$26,000) majestically perch upon a frosted tree, awaiting their next fishing expedition. Accented with blue heads and multi-colored beaks, the pair is now available at all island-wide Swarovski stores.
	Limited Edition Beijing Olympic Watch by Swatch Swiss watchmaker Swatch has two limited edition watches designed to welcome the upcoming Beijing Olympics. These two watches, dubbed Face Painting and All Fit, have strong Chinese-inspired designs. Face Painting was inspired by the makeup of Chinese opera, and the blue-and-white themed All Fit was made with Chinese pottery in mind. Both portray Chinese art and the idealistic concepts of the Olympic Games. The retail price is NT$1,700 each.
	Bottled Chlorella from Hokkaido, now at Working House One of the most popular consumer products in Japan right now is chlorella, the multi-purpose algae referred to as a super-food. Now, you can buy these little plants at Working House. The plants, grown in clear, tiny bottles, are the perfect size for your office desk or kitchen counter--just make sure to keep their temperature under 30℃(86℉). You'll also need to replace the plant water once every month and clean the chlorella's surface with water. Plants are said to help reduce stress by improving air quality and providing a little bit of nature, right in the city. The small size (7x7x12 cm) is NT$250.
	MUJI's Birch Range Collection Birch Range, the newest collection of accessories, kitchenware, and bathroom fixtures, is now available at all MUJI outlets. In June, an array of Birch decor accessories, including pillow cases, tablecloths and plates, will crop up around the island. With a beige color theme and simple lines, the collection is refreshing and modern. The themed merchandise costs between NT$260 and NT$1,700.
