VISITOR RATINGS REVIEWS
Anyone who hasn't gone
by the Howard Prince Hotel recently needs to check out what is easily
the most striking, attractive and unique hotel lobby bar/coffee
shop in the city. A complete renovation has transformed Champs Elysees,
on the first floor, into a club-like lounge, complete with plenty
of comfortable sofas, a cool-looking neon-lit bar and--most striking
of all--a couple of blue-tiled, water-filled ponds connected by
a small channel that curves between the tables.Along with the new
decor is a new Light Supper Ultra Value menu section with tasty,
NT$240 selections for midnight snackers (available 9:30 p.m.-1 a.m.).This
includes Waffles, American Pancakes, the All-American Burger, Lasagna,
and the Two-Egg Set--and all come with juices and extras like bacon.
Other menu items are also good, with soups, salads and Western and
Asian courses, from Shrimp Won-Ton Soup to pastas. Soft drinks are
NT$110, beers are about NT$140 and there are mixed drinks, coffees
and other concoctions.
