Located on the former
location of Yatelan restaurant, this big cafe/restaurant follows
a host of similar places with modern-looking decor, glass walls,
high ceilings, big magazine selection and so on. Menu selections
and prices are similar, too, with coffees like Americano and Mocaccino
Latte going between about NT$100 and NT$130; iced coffees costing
about NT$20 more; and a variety teas (fruit, hot tangerine, plum,
rose and others) starting at NT$120. There are also a number
of Western main-course dining items, including Roast Pork Chop (NT$210),
Penne Noodles (NT$220), Seafood Tomato Pasta, and Grilled Fillet
Steak. Add NT$50 to any of these for a drink. From 8
to 10:30 a.m., there are also NT$120 breakfast specials that include
eggs, bacon, coffee, juice and other things. Other desserts
and snacks range from NT$60 apple and blueberry pies to tuna sandwiches.
There is limited parking available around the cafe building, located
within a couple blocks of the Wenhsin/Taya roads intersection.
