Da Sheng Street is a quaint lane located across from the Wan Shou Baseball stadium. Here, Cosmo Cafe¡¦s owners have creatively transformed the first floor adjacent to their company, Biz House/ESL House Language School into an intimate Italian-style restaurant and coffee shop with a leafy garden seating area out back, convenient for smokers. Cosmo offers an array of pasta and rice dishes, from smoked chicken, beef, tuna and vegetarian (from NT$220) to tasty sandwiches(NT$120) and a selection of desserts. Their high quality espresso style coffees range from cappuccino to flavoured lattes, mocha, Americano, Con Panna, Macchiato and double espresso. They also have a selection of fruit and flower teas. All drinks are served iced or hot. The modern decor and decorative treasures that the owners have collected from abroad are displayed with a simple elegance and charm, making this a comfortable place to linger over coffee or tea or sample their delicious menu. In June, Cosmo Cafe plans to start cultural exchange cocktail evenings on Fridays and Saturdays with dim lights, R&B music, and a chance for locals to meet foreigners.
