     Even before VIN opened, it had already captured the attention of many potential customers. However, despite everyone's anticipation of the opening, the owner, Arthur, insisted on waiting for his special sofa to arrive. Arthur¡¦s bold, eclectic personality is reflected in the lounge bar¡¦s black and white late-contemporary design. The white calfskin suede sofa is from Milan and supposedly costed NT$300,000. The owner also makes note of the handmade lampshades, which contribute to an amazingly gentle-feeling atmosphere. As indicated by its name VIN, which means "wine" in French, the bar offers all kinds of red and white wines, champagne and whiskey. Here, you may savor a vintage ¡¦89 red wine (NT$250/glass), ? and ¡¦96 German white wines (NT$2,600/bottle), or the ¡¦90 VCP La Grande Dame (NT$4,200/bottle), all while sitting on a luxurious white sofa under soft, golden lighting.
