Jennifer not only loves to eat, but also creates delightful food for other people to enjoy. Originally, she worked as a cooking class instructor. After trying a variety of delicious cuisines from around the world, she turned her passion and focus to the often-tedious work of creating French pastries. Within every bite of the treats she makes, you'll taste the rich layers of flavors and understand what's so attractive about French baking. --By Niang Chen, translated by Naomi Lai

B. One of the shop's specialties is a super-sized macaroon--Macaron de la Rose (NT$150)--filled with seasonal fruit such as strawberries, raspberries and cranberries, mixed with custard, chocolate and candied orange peels.
C. Another favorite is the Thousand Crispness (NT$130), made to order and best eaten in the shop. Other delights include the Mont-Blanc (NT$140), with baked Italian meringue as a base, topped with a sweet chestnut paste soaked with rum; the Hazelnut Chocolate Tart (NT$120), using Michel Cluizel chocolate as a base, decorated with almond pieces, popcorn and orange; and the Lemon Tart (NT$120), which has a filling made from fresh lemon juice that gives it a mild sourness, accenting the natural lemon fragrance.
