CP Queenstown offers a fun, relaxing venue where visitors can escape life’s pressures. This former plastics factory has been remodeled into a restaurant, market, exhibition hall and go-kart center. The ground floor market hosts a variety of private vendors each weekend as well as four go-karts and a track for children and adults. The restaurant area houses not only tables, but also a few sofas and coffee tables and a bar. Light menu items include cold noodles (NT$140-260) and housemade Orange or Kiwi Ice Cream with Bruleed Fruit (NT$100), while the small bar serves up a variety of Japnese liquors and liquors. A free hair-washing chair and shampoo for those needing a wash is available, in addition to a hammock. A small art exhibition area showcases the works of local artists, and special events held every few months include food and wine pairing dinners and a drive-in movie experience.
