This restaurant specializes in US Prime rib-eye and rib-cap steaks and fresh seafood, as well as Japanese and Australian beef, Japanese pork fillets (from pigs raised on local grape skins and seeds) and New Zealand lamb. All can be enjoyed a la carte or as set meals (NT$1,690-3,600) that include appetizers, soups, salads, desserts and drinks specially prepared by the chef. The steakhouse has also created a list of Old and New World fine wines, served in Riedel crystal glasses (no corkage fee except NT$50 cleaning charge), helping popularize KR with wine and fine-dining connoisseurs since opening. All meat dishes can be prepared according to guest preferences and seasoned with wasabi, fleur de sel or sel de vin salt by choice—simple seasonings that accentuate the fresh, succulent flavors and textures.
