Liang Jin Farm, Taichung(This place has since closed.)

The Liang Jin cattle farm was founded 30 years ago on Kinmen island and its cows are fed with a mix of farm grass and grain from a Kaoliang liquor distillery. The farm also opened a shop offering beef jerky completely sourced its livestock and in 2015 began promoting specially-flavored Distiller’s Grain Beef Noodles. Since then, its beef noodle shop has become a must-visit for Kinmen tourists.
This summer, Liang Jin Farm beef noodles have arrived in Taichung at this 10-table, 48-seat eatery, where reservations are recommended. Limited-quantity Distiller’s Grain Beef Noodles (NT$289, set meal NT$358) and Recommended Wine Aroma Beef Noodles (NT$229, set NT$388) are offered and diners can select a preferred soup base–Bone Soup, Braised Beef Soup, and Spicy Soup. Other items include the premium Beef and Seafood Noodles (from NT$129) prepared with meat, beef tendons and seafood and all-you-can-eat Grass Ice Cream (NT$50), good after some noodles here. –By Helen Young Translated by Anna Yang
