This is the story of how Batman came to be. Young Bruce
Wayne (Christian Bale) witnessed the brutal killings
of his parents and became obsessed with avenging his
parents' death. Yet a cruel twist of fate prevents him
from doing so. He then flees to Asia where he seeks
counsel from a dangerous ninja cult leader known as
Ra's al Ghul. He returns to his home in Gotham City
to find it overrun with crime and corruption. Discovering
a secret cave under the Wayne Manor and a prototype
armor, Bruce takes on a new identity and fights against
the evil criminal forces that plague Gotham City and
its people.
