Martha Beck and Raymond Martinez Fernandez, a murderous pair known as the "Lonely Hearts Killers", lure their victims by winning their trust, then murdering them for property. Martha and Raymond stay together, as this is their common interest. Martha usually plays Raymond's sister and introduces lonely single women or rich widows. After victims put down their guard, the villians torture and kill them to take over their possessions.
