Forget the traditional bakery image; awfullychocolate looks like a simple, white boutique. There aren't even cakes displayed. Is this deliberately being mysterious? Actually no, so they don't dry out they are stored in a refrigerator to maintain freshness. Awfullychocolate hails from Singapore and was welcomed by a crowd when it opened its first BaDe retail outlet in February. The second branch opened in Tianmu, adding pillows, acrylic tables and warm lamps for a cozy feeling; great for friends to enjoy time together and, of course, savor the rich and fragrant flavor of chocolate.

A. Music by sweetheart singer Stella Huang is easy on the ears. Her simple principle of selling cakes is to make them delicious. "Awfullychocolate has it's own personality. It is like going with no makeup; it doesn't need fancy decorations to dress it up and is very confident with itself." Cakes here are sold whole, not by the slice.
B. Awfullychocolate's chocolate cakes come in the three flavors of All Chocolate (500g NT$580), Chocolate Banana (750g NT$650), and Chocolate Rum & Cherry (800g NT$690). Store these at a temperature of five to six degrees Celsius and consume within three days.
